Who’s the latest front-runner in the LA football sweepstakes?
I haven’t heard anything about this issue in the last 4 or 5 months. That could either mean that no teams are seriously considering a move, or that the deal is going on behind closed doors.
Last I checked, the front-runners were Oakland, Minnesota, Jacksonville, Buffalo, and San Diego.
Has anyone heard any rumors or read any articles lately?
Note: I’m looking for actual information. Don’t just say the Bills are going to move, for example, because you don’t like them!

Has groundbreaking started on la football stadium?
I know they are building a stadium in Los Angeles for a new football team, does anyone now when groundbreaking starts, or has it already? Thanks

Oakland is the only plausible suitor, the Bills entertained a possible move to Toronto that never materialized into anything serious so it’s assumed they’re staying put. Minnesota has too strong a market to just abandon it. Jacksonville has trouble filling seats but a move there will put it in a situation they find themselves already in, attracting new fans. Both SD and OAK have a good following in LA but the Raiders have an expiring stadium contract with the city of Oakland and are in a current dispute regarding it’s renewal. Considering the Detroit Lions have won more games over the last 10 years, I’d say it’s very likely Davis moves the team back to LA.

Where can I watch college football in LA for games that aren’t aired in the region?
I want to watch the Oklahoma/Cincinnati game this weekend but it’s not being shown on TV here. Does anyone know of a sports bar that airs games from other regions?

The guy building it wants ownership in a team before he builds a stadium for them. Until someone is willing to sell him a team so he can move it, nothing will be done.

Any sports bar who subscribes to the College football package will be able to play the game for you, if you ask nicely. I know how bad it sucks not being able to see the game you really want to see…that is why we got Sunday ticket this year which also includes the Big 10 network. Call around to sports bars near you & find out!
Good luck!
